Customers join
Monahans District employees to celebrate 12 consecutive months of zero incidents
(Jan. 15, 2010) MIDLAND, Texas ? Representatives from ConocoPhillips, Devon
Energy, and Schlumberger joined Champion Technologies employees from the
Monahans District in late December to celebrate the district marking 12
consecutive months without a lost-time incident or accident.
Champion hosted the event at the University of Texas Permian Basin Center for
Energy and Economic Development in Midland, Texas.
Champion?s 2009 global Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) was 0.96. The TRIR
is a measure of the number of recordable safety incidents based on hours worked
by employees and supervised contractors.
